Notebaert and Kasper take top honours at Gravel One Fifty

The Gravel One Fifty delivered fast racing and tough conditions over 150 kilometres of flat and dusty gravel roads, with strong winds playing a key role throughout the day.

Men’s race: tight sprint decides the win

In the men’s race, a fast and steady pace split the field late on. Five riders broke clear and stayed together all the way to the finish, setting up a close sprint for the win.

Belgian Kamiel Notebaert came out on top after a very tight sprint. Tijmen Eising (NED) finished second, with Rick Ottema (NED) close behind in third place. Adne Koster and Niek Hoornsman, both from the Netherlands, completed the top five.

The leading group crossed the line 30 seconds ahead of a small chasing group. Belgian rider Daan Soete was the fastest of that group and won the sprint behind the leaders.

Women’s race: solo move pays off

The women’s race followed a different pattern. Romy Kasper (GER) made a strong solo move and rode away from the others after the race exploded in the final.

Behind her, Clara Lundmark (SWE) secured second place after beating Wendy Oosterwoud (NED) in the sprint a minute later. Dutch riders Tessa Neefjes and Yael Prenger finished fourth and fifth, rounding out a strong result for the home country.
