Ghost of the Gravel ready for action tomorrow in Alberta

The Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series continues tomorrow with the Ghost of the Gravel, as an international field of 255 riders prepares to take on one of Canada’s toughest gravel challenges in Water Valley, Alberta (CAN)

Hosted in the foothills near Calgary, the event brings together a predominantly Canadian peloton alongside a few American and European representation, highlighting its growing global appeal.

A proven venue, Ghost of the Gravel previously hosted the Canadian Gravel Championships in 2024 and 2025, and now once again delivers a demanding test on the World Series calendar.

Riders will face a 118 km (73 miles) course with 6,800 feet (2,073 metres) of climbing, featuring nearly 90% gravel through rolling ranchlands and forest terrain.
