The spectacular landscapes of southern France once again set the stage for high-level gravel racing as the Wish One Gravel Millau Grands Causses, one of the pioneering events of the UCI Gravel World Series since 2022, delivered a demanding and selective race across the limestone plateaus of the Grands Causses.
🟦 Elite Men: Drechou takes a tight victory
On a challenging 130 km course with over 2,050 metres of elevation, it was French national champion Hugo Drechou who claimed the win after a thrilling finale.
Drechou completed the course in just over four hours, averaging 32.5 km/h.

- 🥈 Jente Michels (BEL) at +4 seconds
- 🥉 Toby Perry (GBR) at +16 seconds
Belgian cyclocross specialist Michels pushed Drechou all the way to the line, while Britain’s Perry secured third after a strong and consistent ride, finishing just 12 seconds behind second place.
🟪 Elite Women: Wright dominates in Millau
In the women’s race, Sophie Wright delivered a great performance to take victory after 130 km of racing.
She crossed the finish line in 4h35m25( 28.3 km/h)
Behind her, the gaps told the story of a controlled and dominant ride:

- 🥈 Sofia Schugar (USA) at +23 minutes
- 🥉 Leonie Laubic (GER) at +31 minutes
Wright steadily built her advantage throughout the race, mastering both the technical gravel sections and the long climbs characteristic of the Grands Causses terrain.
