After four successful editions in Aachen (3 as a UCI qualifier), 3RIDES Gravel opens an exciting new chapter in 2026 with its move to Winterberg, Germany’s renowned outdoor and winter sports destination, introducing a three-day gravel stage race that culminates in a round of the Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series.
Friday’s programme opens with a 14 km gravel time trial. Saturday delivers a demanding gravel stage over either 70 km or 105 km. However, it is Sunday’s final stage that takes centre stage, serving as the official UCI Gravel World Series qualifier and offering valuable qualification spots for both the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Australia, and the UEC Gravel European Championships in Houffalize, Belgium.
For elite riders and the main age-group categories (men 19-59 and women 19-49), the qualifying race covers 129 km and more than 3,000 metres of climbing, consisting of three laps of a demanding 43 km circuit. Men over 60 and women over 50 tackle 86 km and approximately 2,000 metres of elevation gain by completing two laps of the same course.
