After five events organized in April, May and June, the second phase of the Trek UCI Gravel World Series start this weekend with Gravel Grit ‘n Grind in Halmstad, Sweden followed by events in Houffalize (BEL), Quattordio (ITA), Beechworth (AUS) to have its last qualifier weekend with events in Veenhuizen (NED) and Ponts (ESP) mid-September.
The courses of the first World Championships have been designed and are actually in the process of being approved with flat races in the Italian Veneto region spread over Saturday October 8th and Sunday October 9th. More information on that very soon.
The top 25% per age group and gender qualifies for the first UCI Gravel World Championships with the coveted UCI rainbow jersey as ultimate reward for the best riders.
