The third edition of the French qualifier event in Millau, finishing under the iconic Millau Viaduct—the highest bridge in Europe—saw significant growth this year, attracting nearly 900 riders.
The scenic course wound through the French Grands Causses region, including sections within a military domain. Alongside many top-level elite riders, the event welcomed former F1 world champion Alain Prost and cycling legend Laurent Jalabert.
In the men’s elite race, Florian Dauphin (FRA) grabbed victory from a group of four, clinching the win on the uphill finish under the Millau Viaduct. The Arkea B&B Hotels pro rider edged out his compatriot Alexandre Delettre and Portugal’s Tiago Ferreira. Last year’s winner, Toby Perry (GBR), finished in fourth place a few seconds later.
The women’s race concluded with a close sprint on the steep finish climb. German gravel champion and last year’s winner, Carolin Schiff, narrowly defeated her compatriot Rosa Kloser in a tight sprint, while Axelle Dubau-Prevot finished third overall, 49 seconds behind.
