The Australian qualifier event in Nannup, WA was considered as one of the most scenic courses last season and has grown considerably compared to last year as over 1250 riders have signed up for Saturday, making this the biggest UCI Gravel event so far.
11 different nationalities will be present coming from Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, France, Fiji, USA, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, UK next to the home country.
Adam Blazevic will defend his win from last year and will get good competition from a peloton of the best Australian mountain bikers. Also, Nicholas Roche will battle for the win.
Tiffany Cromwell is one of the female favourites.
The course has slightly changed compared to last year but remains challenging as the long 125km distance has 96% of unpaved roads and a challenging 3000m of elevation. The shorter 85km course as qualifier for the older age groups has 2000m of climbing.
Nannup will be the host city of the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships
