The Catalonian city of Ponts, south of the Spanish Pyrenees offers this Sunday the last option for riders keen on qualifying for the upcoming UCI Gravel World Championships.
The Ranxo event has three distances from which the longest 160km distance is counting as qualifier distances for all age groups and both genders. There is also a shorter 101km and 66km distance on offer.
The race is the longest event in the TREK UCI Gravel World Series and promises to be challenging with 2050m of elevation.
More than 500 riders have preregistered for the race coming from 30 different nationalities.
