1254 riders are set to compete for the 2023 UCI Gravel World Titles

The startlists for this year’s UCI Gravel World Championships have been finalized, featuring a diverse lineup of participants hailing from 44 different nationalities, all categorized into 22 distinct groups.

Among the elites, fans can look forward to witnessing renowned riders such as the defending world champion, Pauline Ferrand Prevot, alongside Tour de France winner Demi Vollering and the newly crowned European Gravel Champion, Lorena Wiebes. Tiffany Cromwell, who emerged victorious in Belgium last Sunday, and the Italian sensation, Silvia Persico, will also be vying for the prestigious rainbow jersey, facing off against a plethora of discipline specialists.

In the Men’s elite, Gianni Vermeersch is geared up to defend his title from last year. His rivals include none other than Wout van Aert, Matej Mohoric, and Alejandro Valverde.  Also here a lot of gravel specialists at the start.

A grand total of 224 Men elite and 112 Women elite are set to take the starting line. In the age categories, expect significant turnout, especially in the younger male divisions, with a whopping 157 riders in the M19-34 category. Additionally, the M40-44, M45-49, and M50-54 categories will each feature over 100 participants, promising intense competition in every age group.
