Mathijs Loman and Nicole Frain score most points in 2025 UCI Gravel World Series ranking

Nicole Frain from Australia (Ridley Racing Team) and Mathijs Loman from the Netherlands (Swatt Club) have secured the top spots in the 2025 UCI Gravel World Series points ranking. This impressive achievement positions them favourably at the start of the upcoming UCI Gravel World Championships.

Loman secured his win by scoring regular points throughout the season, with a peak in his condition at the end of June and early July, winning the races in Luxemburg and Germany.  His 1580 points have been won in 10 races.   Last year’s winner Czech Petr Vakoc is second with the new European champion Mads Würtz Schmidt finishing third after winning 5 legs this season.  Swiss Felix Stehli and Dutch Adne Koster complete the top 5.

The battle for the female win was more intense with Dutch Wendy Oosterwoud being in the lead for most of the season, but Nicole Frain took over in the second to last weekend to secure her top position.  German Jade Treffeisen got overall third, followed by Axelle Dubau-Prevot (FRA) and Sophie Wright (GBR).
