The only UCI Gravel event, apart from the World Championships having men and women racing on separate days will take place this weekend in Wales.

The Graean Cymru gravel has 1000 riders from 30 different countries signing up.  The Welsh qualifier takes place in a remote area in the Clocaenog Forest in Llyn Brenig  and will feature a 105km course over two laps with a 1km straight finish line at the reservoir.

In the women’s race, Tessa Neefjes, Morgan Aguirre, Danielle Shrosbree, Racheal Wales, Abi Smith, Sophie Wright, Lucy Lee & Lizi Brooke should be the ones battling for victory.

In the men’s race, a competitive field with Ivar Slik, Ben Thomas, Matt Holmes, Ryan Christensen, Damien Clayton & Joe Laverick are all keen to grab the win and the ticket for worlds.

After Wales, only four qualifiers in the last two weekends remain for riders keen on doing the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships.
