UCI Gravel Brazil is the first ever UCI Gravel race in Southern America and hosted by the team behind the very successful UCI Gran Fondo Brazil who takes place in the same region in November every year.
Course
The 111km course starts and finishes on the “Estrada Distrito Vila Kaetas” near the town of Caetas, 20km south of the city of Balneario Camboriu. 90% of the course is on gravel roads with only a small part in the middle on paved roads.
The course is designed with a first 28km northern loop with limited elevation, followed by a bigger 83km southern loop from which the last part is again the northern loop.

The UCI Gravel Brazil event has 1603m of elevation with the shorter mediofondo totalling 899m of climbing.
The 111km starts with a 1km climb at 6.5% average and 9.8% maximum with the beginning after only 1,3km after the start. There is another steep 1km at 11% average and 14% maximum before passing the finish line after the startloop after 25km on course and again in the final with its top 2km before the finish.
The major climb of the day is a 5,1km climb starting after 74km at 7% average and 13% maximum.
The 62km mediofondo has the finish climb of the 111km directly after the start to make a fast split up of the different groups and has a longer 5,5km climb at 3,2% average after 45km.
BALNEARIO CAMBORIU
Balneario Camboriú offers a blend of beaches, attractions, and activities for tourists.

- Praia do Buraco: This beach is famous for its unique rock formation, which creates a natural pool. It’s a great place for snorkeling and diving.
