Alentejo Gravel added to the UCI Gravel World Series calendar

Portugal will add a brand-new gravel event to the calendar on 9 November, serving as fourth qualifier option for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships taking place in Nannup, Western Australia.

The cosy town of Ourique will host this new event in the southern part of the Alentejo region.  The course is 119km long with 2100m of elevation with a shorter 87km course for the older categories.  A perfect late-season getaway late to secure your ticket for the UCI World Championships early on.

Ourique is conveniently situated 75 km from Faro and 150 km from Lisbon.  Full course details will be communicated later.
