114 Gravel Race is the first in its kind to connect two countries as the start of the race is in Elvas (Alentejo) in Portugal and finish over the Spanish border in Extremadura in the city of Badajoz with in between kilometres of gravel roads.

Course

Starting from the Parque da Piedade in Elvas, the 137km course quickly goes to the Portuguese Spanish border which is crossed after 37km The course crosses the towns of Elvas, Badajoze, Villarreal, Olivenza to finish again in Badajoz.

Finish is in the Guadiana Park on the right side of the Puente de las Palmas in Badajoz.

Profile

The course has 1032m of elevation, but without major climbs as the majority of the track is located in between 300m (start) and 150m (finish) above sea level.

The start is the highest point on course and riders pass nearby after 25km in the race with a second short but steep climb.  The second half of the course on the Spanish side is mainly flat with minor elevation.
