Three More Events Added to the 2026 Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series

The Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series proudly announces the addition of three officially approved events to the 2026 calendar, further expanding the global reach of the series and strengthening its lineup of qualifying opportunities for riders worldwide. There are actually 47 events qualifying for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships and 48 events scheduled in this calendar year.

Ghost of the Gravel — Water Valley (AB), Canada (27 June 2026)

The first newly added event is the Ghost of the Gravel in Water Valley, Alberta, Canada. The event – whose organizers previously organized the Canadian National Gravel Championships twice near Calgary – has been approved for 27 June 2026. It fills a previously free weekend in the calendar, making it an ideal addition to the North American segment of the series.

HYSK Gravel Classic Yakurai presented by Gravelking — Kami Town, Japan (22 August 2026)

The second addition, Gravel Classic Yakurai, will receive strengthened support through the collaboration with our title partner Panaracer, producer of the Gravelking tyres. The event will take place in Kami Town in the Miyagi Prefecture – on a challenging course with lots of climbing – on 22 August 2026.

Gravelista — Seymour (VIC), Australia (25 October 2026)

A beloved cornerstone of our series since its inception, Gravelista has now been reconfirmed for 2026.  Gravelista will once again offer riders an iconic gravel experience in the Australian high country on 25 October 2026 as second qualifier for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships taking place in the Haute-Savoie region of France as part of the combined UCI Cycling World Championships.
