Vueltas Altas Cumbres Gravel is the first edition of the UCI Gravel World Series to be held in Argentina. It will take place in Villa Cura Brochero in the Córdoba Province. The race will be held as part of the multi-sport event “Experiencia Altas Cumbres” in the Traslasierra Valley.
Course
Vueltas Altas Cumbres is a 112 km race with a total elevation gain of 1,930 m and a maximum altitude of 2,270 m, starting from 900 m above sea level. The route is 92% dirt roads in varying states of repair, with approximately 35 km of climbing until km 68, where the gradient turns negative. The race finishes in Cura Brochero after a beautiful, continuous 33 km descent. This gravel event takes place in a unique, ever-changing, and at times inhospitable natural setting, offering unparalleled beauty and demanding technical challenges. It’s a cycling experience to remember for a lifetime in the Traslasierra Valley, which boasts optimal tourist infrastructure for sporting events of this nature.
