Adam Toupalik and Hanna Nilsson to win Gravel Adventure.

The fourth edition of Gravel Adventure, Poland’s exclusive UCI Gravel World Series event, kicked off in Szklarska Poreba – Jakuszyce under clear skies. However, mid-race rain showers evolved into a full downpour by the finish, adding an extra layer of challenge for the competitors.

In the men’s elite race, Czech cyclist Adam Toupalik took the win. He put a minute between himself and his compatriot, Petr Vakoc, after the two broke away in the final kilometers. Toupalik then pulled ahead of Vakoc in the closing stages to secure the victory. Belgium’s Seppe Rombouts claimed third place, finishing 4 minutes and 26 seconds behind.

The women’s race saw Sweden’s Hanna Nilsson finish first after a direct battle with British champion Annabel Fisher. Austria’s Theresa Rindler Bach rounded out the podium, finishing third just 24 seconds later.
