GermanyIn its fifth year, 3RIDES is once again setting the tone for the German gravel scene with a new destination and a new concept. From July 17 to 19, 3RIDES Winterberg will celebrate its premiere with three stages that can be ridden individually or for an overall ranking.
Course
The circuit of the UCI 3RIDES Gravel Race is 43km with 1,000 meters of elevation gain and has an off-road share of 88%. The elite men’s and women’s race and the 19-49 female and 19-59 male age groups have a total of 3 laps (129km / 3.000 meters of elevation gain). The age groups female +50 and male +60 ride a total of 2 laps (86km / 2.000 meters of altitude).
Profile
With its 1000m elevation per lap, this is a hard course totalling 3000m of climbing for most categories. The hardest climb of the day is located halfway each lap when riders reach the highest point at 800m above sea level after a long steady climb. The next 8km are mainly in downhill towards the lowest point at 500m to then start climbing again for the steepest climb of the day.
